Sitas provides skilled nursing and medical social services tailored to applicable research protocols, physician orders, patient and caregiver needs, and study team requirements.
Referral & Onboarding
Referrals may be submitted to Sitas for patients participating in clinical trials. A Sitas research nurse reviews the referral, contacts the patient, and confirms that planned services align with the applicable research protocol and physician orders.
Referral Received
A referral is submitted to Sitas for review.
Clinical Review
A Sitas research nurse reviews the referral and planned home-based services.
Patient Contact
The patient is contacted to coordinate the admission visit.
Protocol & Order Confirmation
Sitas confirms that the timing and planned services are consistent with the applicable research protocol and physician orders.
Plan of Care
An individualized plan of care is established based on the patient’s needs, physician orders, and study requirements.
